Skincare regimen
for Oily skin
Identifying your skin type is the first step toward building a routine that truly supports your skin’s needs.
Oily skin often reveals itself through an all-over shine, particularly in the T-zone—the forehead, nose, and chin. To better understand your skin type, start with a gentle cleanse and observe your skin after about 30 minutes. If it appears greasy throughout, it’s likely that you have oily skin.
Step 1:
Cleanse (Morning & Evening)
Cleanse (Morning & Evening)
Oily skin can attract more dirt and bacteria, which can lead to clogged pores, breakouts, acne, and more, so cleansing is your first essential step. Start and end your day by gently cleansing your skin to remove impurities and excess oil.
- Begin by washing your hands thoroughly
- Apply a pearl-sized amount of a gentle, oil-balancing cleanser to your damp face and neck
- Massage it onto your face and neck with your fingertips using light, circular motions
- Work upwards—this not only cleans effectively but can also help prevent sagging and early formation of fine lines
- Rinse with lukewarm water (not hot, as it can strip natural oils); pat your face dry with a clean, soft towel
Step 2:
Tone (Morning & Evening)
Tone (Morning & Evening)
Toning helps remove any leftover residue after cleansing, refines the appearance of pores, and prepares your skin for moisturizer. JUVIÃ Vital Protect Face Toner is specially formulated for oily, breakout-prone skin, helping to refresh and clarify the complexion while supporting a more balanced, even look.
- Immediately after cleansing, while your skin is still slightly damp, saturate a soft cotton pad with JUVIÃ toner
- Gently glide it across your face and neck using upward strokes, giving extra attention to oil-prone areas like your T-zone (forehead, nose, and chin)
- Avoid rubbing or pressing too hard
- Let the toner absorb fully before moving on to the next step
Step 3:
Exfoliate (2–3 times per week, preferably in the evening)
Exfoliate (2–3 times per week, preferably in the evening)
Exfoliation is key for oily skin as it clears away dead skin cells that collect in your pores, leading to congestion and breakouts. However, be mindful not to overdo it, as too frequent exfoliations can irritate skin and increase oil production.
- Post-toning, wet your face with lukewarm (not hot) water to help open up your pores
- Apply your exfoliator and use your fingertips to gently scrub in small, upward, circular motions. Avoid harsh pressure and let the product do the work
- Focus on oily areas like the nose, chin, and forehead, but be gentle around sensitive spots like under the eyes
- Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and gently pat your face dry
(Note: Skip exfoliating if your skin feels sensitive or irritated that day.)
Step 4:
Moisturize (Morning & Evening)
Moisturize (Morning & Evening)
Even oily skin needs hydration. In fact, skipping moisturizer can send your skin into overdrive, prompting it to produce more oil. A lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizer can hydrate your skin without clogging pores.
- Pump out a small amount of ÃVISA Équilibré Face Cream and warm it between your palms
- Using gentle, upward circular motions, massage the cream onto your face and neck
- Pay extra attention to delicate areas like around the eyes; use your ring finger for the lightest touch here
- Complete the ritual by gently tapping across the face until fully absorbed
