Grown in loamy, fertile soil with good drainage, Holy Basil settles best where warmth is steady, and light remains soft but consistent. At least four hours of sunlight shapes the plant’s growth rhythm. The leaves form with a smooth, slightly hairy texture and release a strong, aromatic fragrance as they mature. Harvesting takes place on bright, sunny days, when the leaves are full of vitality and at their most expressive.
