Mango trees thrive in warm, humid climates, requiring a long, hot summer with ample sunlight and well-drained, loamy soils rich in organic matter for optimal fruit ripening. The harvesting season typically begins in April and May, when the fruit reaches peak maturity. Ripe mangoes are identified by their orange-yellow or reddish peels. Inside each fruit is a flat, hard seed—also known as a kernel. Once dried, these kernels are pressed to extract mango butter, a rich, natural moisturizer that deeply nourishes and hydrates the skin.

Licorice grows best in dry, cold-to-Mediterranean climates, where summers reach up to 25°C and winters drop to around 5°C. Aloe vera best thrives in bright, open spaces with minimal moisture. It prefers well-drained soil, ideally a mix of loam and sandy loam with a pH between 6.5 and 8.5, allowing its roots to breathe and its fleshy, green-grey leaves to store moisture efficiently.
