Grown in tropical to subtropical climates, Passion Fruit thrives in temperatures of 20–30 °C with monthly rainfall between 60–120 mm, adding up to 900–2500 mm annually. It prefers sandy loam soils that are well-drained and rich in organic matter, with a pH of 6.5–7.5. Sensitive to frost and strong winds, the vines perform best in stable, humid environments with good sunlight and gentle airflow.
